Review of the rewind data sheet, winding design, turns/connection, materials and insulation class against the motor nameplate and EASA AR100-2020 expectations.
Electrical test reports
Verification of insulation resistance / polarization index (IEEE 43), surge comparison, hi-pot, winding resistance and balance — what was tested, how, and whether results are within spec.
Core & thermal integrity
Core-loss testing and evidence that the stator core was not damaged during burnout — temperatures controlled, never overheated, per EASA good practice.
Mechanical & dimensional checks
Bearing fits and tolerances, shaft and housing dimensions, runout, balancing records and assembly workmanship.
Materials & VPI process
Confirmation of insulation system class, magnet wire, and that varnish treatment / VPI impregnation and oven curing were performed correctly.
Documentation & traceability
Whether the repair is properly documented, traceable, and supports the efficiency and reliability the equipment should deliver after repair.
